April Bowlby

April Bowlby, an American model and actress from the United States. She is most famous for her role as Kandi and Stacy Barrett, in Drop Dead Diva and Titans and Doom Patrol. April Michelle Bowlby was born in New York City. The actress is most famous for her portrayals in the roles of Stacy Barrett and Kandi on Two and a Half Men and Drop Dead Diva, a comedy series that is a legal, fantasy drama and comedy. Modeling was her first career followed by films and television programs. Her first appearance on small screen was as an extra in the show CSI: Crime Scene Investigation and was followed by appearances on a single episode in various other shows. For Two and a Half Men she was cast as Kandi. Bowlby was recognized internationally for the Stacy Barrett role in Drop Dead Diva. Bowlby played the role of Elastigirl/Rita Farr in the American webseries Titans. She will reprise her role in the spin-off to Doom Patrol. Doom Patrol television series. Bowlby was also in TV movies Sands of Oblivion & The Wrong Daughter. In addition to All Roads Lead Home she was also on The Slammin Salmon, From Prada to Nada and other movies. Bowlby relocated to Manteca California in her early years and went to East Union High School. Prior to deciding on an acting career, she studied French and ballet at Moorpark College. She studied drama at Ivanachubbuck, and was offered the role in the major television series (Kandi) in just a few months following her Hollywood audition. Bowlby appeared in many TV shows including CSI in 2004. She also appeared on CSI: NY in 2005, Freddie on the 2005 season as Sydney as Sydney, and How I Met Your Mother in 2007 in the role of Meg. Bowlby has recently played the character of Natasha (a 12-year-old girl) in All Roads Lead Home. The movie is about an accident that causes her to loss her mother. Bowlby is set to play Mia as she appears as well in The Slammin Salmon (2008). She lives in Los Angeles. She is a redhead with blue eyes. She was never married, and has no children.
