Tina and Amanda
Tina Louise is a popular American singer, writer and actress, best known for her role as Ginger Grant in the 1960s television series Gilligan's Island. Her stage work began in the 1950s with Two's Company, a Bettle-Davis musical. After that, she performed in several Broadway performances before she was a star on national stage alongside Li'l Abner in. The same year, She made her debut album of songs, called It's the Time for Tina. Louise first appeared in Hollywood in the role of Griselda Walden on God's Small Acre, a drama from 1957. This movie was hugely popular and Louise got the Golden Globe Award at the New Star of the Award category. As students at Lee Strasberg, she attended the Actors Studio New York. Another notable character she portrayed in the role of Ginger Grant, which CBS hired her with in 1964. Louise continued to juggle her work in between Broadway as well as Hollywood, portraying more somber roles, as in contrast to her portrayal of herself as a glamorous woman. Amanda Tapping..........................Amanda Tapping is best known for her acting roles as Samantha Carter in the series Stargate. As SG-1, and in the role of Helen Magnus in Sanctuary although over the past few years, she has also made her name as a successful director in several well-known television series like Supernatural or The 100. Her family moved from Essex to Toronto and she lived there for childhood and adolescence. Following her selection for the role as Samantha Carter, she moved to Vancouver in 1997. She has lived there from then on.
